Design Concept & Spatial Rationale
Spatial Drama through Archway Enfilades
Set inside a commercial building in Jaipur’s C-Scheme district, Anaar transforms a plain rectangular floor plate into a sequence of intimate dining niches. A central spine formed by repeating plaster arches divides the main room into semi-private banquette booths, giving diners a sense of discovery and quiet luxury.
Acoustic Warmth & Lighting Scenography
Dining room noise is carefully managed through micro-perforated teak ceiling panels and deep upholstered seating. Custom ceiling pendants cast targeted pools of warm light onto hand-poured terracotta terrazzo tables, creating an atmospheric, theatrical ambiance that shifts seamlessly from lunch to evening service.
Key Spatial Features
- Custom poured terrazzo floor inlaid with local green marble borders
- Acoustically tuned fluted wood walls keeping ambient noise below 60dB
